Everything was amazing, incredible service, amazing location just off the lake, and Ferguson valley, Harvey, Collie, Wellington Dam, Gnomesville and walking tracks around the property. Had facilities needed in my apartment, including a fridge, an electric kettle, and a microwave. I had a private bathroom and kitchen.

The location of the retreat was unbeatable, surrounded by hills and bush, with a beautiful lake to walk around or paddle a kayak. the welcome was friendly and helpful. the lodges were basic but had everything we needed, including a decent kitchen and comfortable beds. the highlight was having a barbecue outside under the stars. the facilities were very reasonably priced, including washing facilities and plenty of wood for the fireplace.
The accommodation was lacking some modern amenities, such as not having Wi-Fi in the lodges and limited phone service. the lodges were in need of some renovation, as some furniture was uncomfortable and outdated, and the cabins were not easily accessible for elderly people with mobility issues.

Spent Xmas in a rustic paradise surrounded by hills and a tranquil lake. Enjoyed local cuisine with fresh produce and reasonable cocktail prices. The verandah views were breathtaking which allowed me to relax and unwind.
Forget about room service and Wi-Fi as you can only enjoy basic lodges with no signal. Whilst not a big deal, be mindful that some lodges have spiral staircases which can be problematic for those who have mobility issues.

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel! The location was perfect for our desire to be close to nature, with breathtaking views of a beautiful lake right outside our cabin. The hotel facilities were superb, including fun-filled activities such as bush walks and paddling on the water. We also loved that we could use the fire pits with hot plates and cut firewood provided. Parking was plentiful, and the staff was amiable, accommodating us with excellent self-catering accommodation options.
Nothing to dislike, this stay was a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations in every way!

The facilities may require an upgrade to freshen up the decor.
